SERVE ACHIEVE LEAD
To nurture gifted future leaders of Vietnam who will impact their communities.
SAL carries a meaningful dual symbolism. As an acronym, it stands for Serve, Achieve, Lead, representing the core values we hope to nurture in each scholar: a spirit of service, a drive for achievement, and the capacity to lead with integrity and purpose. At the same time, SAL also echoes Salt and Light. Being "salt and light" means standing out in a good way by showing kindness, honesty, and respect. Students can use their actions to positively influence others and help create a better community.

We support dedicated and gifted high school students who show potential for academic excellence and leadership; prepare them with essential support to enter university.
We help students grow, not only in knowledge, but also in character so that they will develop a sense of responsibility for themselves, their families, and their communities.

To provide continuous personal and academic support for SAL scholars through meaningful mentor-mentee relationships, fostering growth, guidance, and a spirit of giving back.

Training programs
Designed to shed light on any questions the scholars may have about academics, life skills and their future careers through social work activities, workshops, and field trips.

Enriching programs
Organizing annual activities for the students to improve their skills and experiences such as city tour for new scholars, summer trips, culture exchange, Christmas events, etc.
"Beyond academic knowledge, SAL gave me opportunities to grow in ways I had never imagined. SAL was not just a scholarship, it was a turning point that gave me confidence, resilience, and the belief that my dreams are worth fighting for."
Thi Thuong, Class of 2021
"Every person I met in this journey - the Mentors, Mentees, and the SAL team - none of them came into my life by accident. They were the raindrops that fell in just the right place. Each one helped water a little seed like me - helping me grow, gently and surely, through these precious years of youth."
Tuan Anh, Class of 2022
"In the end, I’ve learned that being a mentor isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about walking alongside someone, learning together, and growing together. I’m truly grateful for this experience, it has taught me not only more about others, but also more about myself."
Ms. Toan Van, SAL Mentor

SAL Scholarship Ceremony
On September 26, 2025, the SAL Scholarship Award Ceremony themed “A Journey of Growth” was held in a formal yet warm atmosphere. The event marked a meaningful milestone in SAL’s ongoing commitment to nurturing knowledge and resilience, as the program proudly awarded scholarships to six talented students pursuing diverse fields of study, including Information Technology, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Multimedia Communication, Art Studies, and Social Work.

WHO WE ARE Workshop
Earlier, on September 10, 2025, the SAL Scholarship gave new students a truly meaningful start with the workshop “Who We Are.” More than just an orientation, it was a journey of selfdiscovery and reflection, from engaging activities to the MBTI personality test. Each SAL student gradually discovered their strengths and weaknesses, unlocked hidden potential, and built the confidence needed to embark on the new chapter of their scholarship journey.

SAL Christmas Event
SAL Christmas is not only an annual programme that brings together those walking the same journey, but also an opportunity for students to demonstrate their leadership, event management skills, and their role as positive successors in carrying forward the values of the SAL Scholarship.
