SAL SCHOLARSHIP
WHO CAN APPLY
Graduating high school students pursuing university or college education in Ho Chi Minh City.
Selection Criteria
ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE / Good or above in high school.
HIGHER EDUCATION POTENTIAL / Proven academic excellence and responsibility.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT / Compassion and contributions to social causes.
CHARACTER / Strong moral character, supported by a teacher's recommendation.
FINANCIAL NEED / Assessed based on annual family income.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES / Priority for applicants from single-parent families, orphans, persons with disabilities, ethnic minorities, or rural areas with limited access to quality education.
Commitments to Maintain Scholarship
Every August, the Scholarship Committee will review the eligibility for the scholarship renewal of next year's SAL Scholarship for students based on the following criteria:​

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY / Demonstrated improvement

Application Timeline

OPENS
SAL Scholarship application is usually open from May -July annually.​

CANDIDATE
SCREENING
Applications are reviewed based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, personal essays, and recommendation letters to shortlist interview candidates.
3.
INTERVIEW
ROUND
SAL connects scholars with mentors, alumni, and partners, enabling them to expand networks, explore careers, and prepare for future opportunities.
4.
FINAL SELECTION & RESULT ANNOUNCEMENT
In August-September, the Scholarship Committee will go through a rigorous selection process to decide the most deserving candidates to receive the SAL Scholarship.
