Mentorship
Program
/ PURPOSE / To provide continuous personal and academic support for SAL scholars through meaningful mentor-mentee relationships, fostering growth, guidance, and a spirit of giving back.
/ ACTIVITIES / Each scholar is paired with an experienced mentor for monthly one-on-one meetings to share about life, studies, achievements, and challenges. Mentors also join mentees in various SAL activities, creating shared experiences that strengthen their connection beyond formal mentoring.
/ OUTCOMES / Scholars gain valuable insights, confidence, and direction in both their academic and personal journeys. The program cultivates lasting bonds within the SAL community and inspires mentees to one day become mentors themselves, continuing the cycle of growth and support.

Workshops
/ PURPOSE / These programs are held annually, with continuously evolving themes and approaches, to enhance leadership skills and support students’ personal growth.
/ ACTIVITIES / The workshops include interactive and practical activities such as discussions, debates, creative thinking, and role-playing, helping students explore their values and develop essential soft skills.
/ OUTCOMES / SAL scholars become more confident, self-aware, and proactive, equipped with the mindset and capabilities to lead, collaborate effectively, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

An annual summer trip that brings scholars and mentors together, strengthening the SAL community through team activities, shared experiences, and meaningful connections while fostering communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

A dynamic event that encourages scholars to stay active and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Beyond sports activities, it fosters connection through teamwork, friendly competition, and mutual support, helping build trust and create memorable experiences.

An opportunity for SAL scholars to develop leadership and communication skills through meaningful cross-cultural interactions. By connecting with Korean students, scholars broaden their global perspective, build international friendships, and enhance their ability to communicate in diverse environments.
