N.H.O Scholarship – Engaging student students overcoming difficulties in An Giang

With a commitment to investing in education for the future of Vietnamese children, N.H.O is constantly working to expand scholarship programs to remote places in project areas where the company has offices.

In early 2023, the CSR department visited and worked with the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province to share the goal of supporting students who are striving to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies, in order to continue to nurture their dreams on their intellectual path. It is known that An Giang has two bordering mountainous districts, Tri Ton and Tinh Bien, where there are many Khmer ethnic students. Living conditions here are still poor, so many students have to drop out of school midway to help their families.

From these concerns, on October 4, 2023, N.H.O Company An Giang branch, together with the Department of Education and Training of An Giang Province, awarded 50 scholarships, each worth 1,500,000 VND, and many other gifts such as backpacks, essential items, etc... for 50 students from6 high schools: Tinh Bien High School, Chi Lang High School, Xuan To High School in Tinh Bien district and Nguyen Trung Truc High School, Ba Chuc High School, Co To Middle-High School in Tri Ton district. In addition, during the scholarship awarding ceremony, N.H.O also introduced to students about the SAL scholarship for the university level and organized activities to give them the opportunity to connect with the Scholarship Committee.

With this support, N.H.O hopes that students in remote areas will always have hopes and dreams and will continue to move forward every day to achieve what they want, and become successful people are useful to their homeland and country in the future.
