How can parents help their children truly feel loved?
There is no single answer to that question. Parenting is a lifelong journey of learning, growing, and understanding - one day at a time.
With the goal of supporting employees in building positive relationships both at home and in the workplace, N.H.O's CSR team partnered with Save the Children to sponsor five N.H.O Group employees to participate in the "Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting" program.
Running for nearly two months, from April 8 to June 3, 2026, the course combined practical knowledge, hands-on activities, and open discussions among parents who share similar experiences in raising children.
Throughout the program, participants explored positive parenting approaches, learned to better understand both their own emotions and those of their children, and discovered new ways to build stronger connections based on empathy, respect, and understanding.
These lessons gradually became part of everyday family life.
Ms. Phuong, an N.H.O employee who joined the program, shared: "After completing the course, I feel like I finally have a way to handle situations when my child is stubborn or doesn't listen. My son is more willing to listen now, recognizes his mistakes, and even apologizes on his own. He understands the situation better, and I feel much calmer too. We're both happier. I've already applied what I learned successfully in several real-life situations."

Beyond introducing new parenting strategies, the course also encouraged many parents to reflect on themselves and recognize that meaningful connection always begins with listening.
Ms. Trang (SYPM) shared: "This was the first parenting course I truly committed to. Before this, I only read articles or books occasionally, so I rarely put the ideas into practice. After just eight sessions, my perspective changed completely. I realized that positive discipline isn't only about raising children—it's also about understanding yourself and building healthier relationships with the people around you. What I appreciated most was hearing real-life experiences from other parents in the class. The course may have ended, but for me, it's only the beginning. The most valuable thing I took away wasn't a list of parenting techniques—it was a new mindset: listening more, seeing things from my child's perspective, connecting more deeply, and raising my child with respect, patience, and love."
Sometimes, becoming a better parent begins with taking time to reflect on yourself, learning to listen more carefully, and choosing approaches that best support your child in everyday situations.
Parenting is a lifelong journey filled with new lessons. Small changes made today can become the foundation for stronger, healthier relationships between parents and children in the years to come.
These positive changes were also reflected in everyday family life.
Ms. Hang, another N.H.O employee, shared: "The course was free, but incredibly valuable. Everything was backed by research and easy to apply in real life. At first, I found the theory a bit overwhelming, but as the sessions went on, everything became more logical and practical. I have a 14-year-old son, and we used to struggle with conflicts over his studies. After applying what I learned about combining structure with warmth, I began to understand him much better. I've seen positive changes in him, and I also feel much more relaxed and confident as a parent."
For N.H.O, investing in employee development also means supporting the well-being of their families. By creating opportunities to learn, grow, and strengthen relationships at home, N.H.O continues to nurture positive values that extend beyond the workplace and into the community.
